However, there is a specific specie of black holes that is much more ancient and intriguing than the ones we typically envision. These are the primordial black holes. Some Astronomers hope that primordial Black Holes can help us solve other great mysteries of the universe i.e. What is the nature of Dark Matter? and The formation of the first massive Black Holes in the universe?

It is speculated that the universe could be sprawling with these hypothetical objects. The amalgamation of these tiny black holes could have led to the formation of the massive black holes in the early stages after the Big Bang.

Earlier Stars might have been formed around these objects that resulted in the creation of galaxies and solar systems. That means those stars formed much earlier than we had previously thought. Primordial Black Holes might be responsible for the birth of Black Holes.

Missions like Webb, LISA and Euclid are expected to shed more light on this amazing cosmic mystery.
